Mexican and colombian food! The 1st time I went there i ordered the rice, platains and shrimp and it had every flavor their is. My taste buds were not disappointed!

This is a Colombian/Mexican restaurant that is pretty good. For Greenville, SC it is good. It is not the best Columbian food I've ever had, but it is good. We both had the Bandeja Paisa with no rice and double beans. The beans were the best part. The steak was a little chewy for my taste, but the salsa they have for it was really good. It wasn't super hot, but had a good kick and taste that complimented the steak very well. The chicharrón was also crispy and went well with the beans. The sausage was really good and went well with the plátano maduro. Overall, a good place for those that enjoy Columbian food in Greenville, SC.
This restaurant is so delicious!! They give you soo much food for a good price! The staff is Always friendly and attentive. I tried it because my friend told me it was good and it didn't disappoint, is a 10 for me!
Authentic home cooked Colombian Food. Don't order the Mexican dishes though, stick with the Colombian ones. No alcohol sales. Excellent food.
La Negra has the best Bandeja Paisa in the entire upstate. None of the other Colombian restaurants in Greenville have better ingredients, flavor, or homestyle feel.

This was my first experience with Colombian food and let me say La Negra Candela has me hooked! The atmosphere was very casual, large after-church following so it was rather busy. Service was prompt and courteous. The food came out fast, hot and oh so delicious! I cant wait to go back! Gracia La Negra Candela!
